EKFB is proud to have been appointed by HS2 to deliver civil engineering works across an 80km section of the new high speed rail link between the Chiltern Tunnel and Long Itchington Wood.

EKFB are recruiting for a Senior Document Controller to join our team working on our Twyford to Greatworth section (T2G) based from Brackley.

A key part of this role is to ensure that all communications between EKFB and the Client, Supply Chain and Stakeholders are accurately recorded and shared with the wider Project team in good time. You will also be supporting and directing the Information Controller with daily tasks and upskilling in respect of EKFB processes.

You will be responsible for initial and ongoing supply chain training to ensure that EKFB DC requirements are maintained and reporting and referring any ongoing issues of non-compliance. Also, the ability to create appropriate areas for exchange with supply chain and other 3rd parties ensuring that correct permissions are applied.

You'll be collaborating with the EKFB team to ensure that EKFB DC protocols are adhered to, upskilling the wider team and providing support where required. This also applies to the junior members of the team.

It is essential that you encourage and train project team members to view and manage information electronically as agreed with project leadership. The role will require you to escalate any issues in respect of overdue/outstanding documentation with relevant project stakeholders.

You'll be fully aware and compliant with Client EDMS requirements so that the delivery of Project documentation is achieved without delay. This includes the ability to edit documentation on the Client system and knowledge of nuances in respect of third-party document issue and review.

We expect you to maintain responsibility for your own workload, continually developing skills and knowledge. Supporting cultural change within the business unit/project by promoting a digital approach to information management.
