Barber/hairdresser

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced barber/stylist to join our team at the longest serving busy barber shop in Abingdon.

**Duties**:

- Provide excellent customer service by actively listening to clients' needs and preferences
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their desired hairstyle and offer professional advice
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in hair styling and incorporate them into your work
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including sanitizing tools and equipment
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently

**Experience**:

- Proven experience as a Hair Stylist or Barber
- Strong knowledge of different hair types and textures
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Ability to provide exceptional customer service and build rapport with clients

**Requirements**:

- Ability to work flexible hours
- Attention to detail and creativity in hairstyling
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
