Temporary position to cover maternity leave with the option of permanent work should a childcare qualification be obtained whilst working.

We are looking for an enthusiastic kitchen cook to help plan and make healthy snacks and lunch menus for our childrens day nursery

Valid food & Hygiene Level 2 certificate desired but can be obtained before commencing. Full clean driving licence desirable for school drop offs and collections.

27.5 - 38hr contract depending on experience.

Please note this role is 18+ and requires Access NI vetting before commencing as well as enrolement onto child protection training.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Temporary contract
Contract length: 9 months

**Salary**: £8.50-£10.55 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Lisburn: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Chef: 1 year (preferred)
- Cooking: 1 year (preferred)
- Kitchen experience: 1 year (preferred)
