Farm Assistant

We are hiring

We are currently seeking a Farm Assistant at our small holding in Hockley, Essex. A hands on approach is key and previous livestock exprience is preferred as the position will include working with various farm animals.

Tasks will include the following (but are not limited to):

- Basic cleaning and feeding tasks.
- Routine husbandry including feet trimming, administering of vaccinations and medications.
- Observing and checking animals health condition.
- Assistance with maintnance of equipment/animal housing/fencing etc.

Essential skills:

- Pro-active, cheerful approach
- Happy to work in all weather conditions
- Willingness/ability to learn
- Level 3 qualification in animal care will be advantegous

This is a full time position of 40 hours per week including weekend and bank holidays, days must be flexible. **The pay rate is negotiable depending on age and experience.**

**Salary**: From £7.50 per hour

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
