Are you passionate about supporting others? We are looking for a British Sign Language Communication Support Worker to join our student support family. This role would be suited to someone with a friendly personality and someone who is eager to create a supportive environment for our students.

Scale 5, Points 25-28, £27,986 - £30,138 per annum, pro rata (Equivalent to £12,858 - £13,847 per annum)

17 hours per week (including evening work and occasional early mornings and weekends).

Part time, fixed term until 5 July 2024.

**About you**:Ideally you should have a level 3 British Sign Language qualification (or working towards level 3). You will also have proven experience of working with adults and young people with additional learning needs (ALN) and disabilities. You should also hold a level 2 qualification in English and Maths (GCSE or equivalent) and be IT literate to level 2.

Sickness benefits here are generous, and staff are also provided with free access to independent occupational health, the Employee Support Helpline, a 24-hour life management and personal support helpline. The College also employs a dedicated Heath and Wellbeing Co-ordinator, who provides support and organises very popular events across the Group, as well as providing access to a variety of free wellbeing resources.

There is free car parking at all of our main colleges as well as bike storage, and If you are based in the South we can also offer a 10% discount at the Lilliput Day Nursery in Neath.
