Quest Search and Selection are partnering with a specialist retailer in the Gaming and Entertainment sector who are looking for an Assistant Buyer to join their Buying and Merchandising team.

**Your roles and responsibilities as Assistant Buyer will be -**
- Collaborate with Senior Buyer / Buyer in commercial ensuring key KPI's are met for self and team
- Implement forward thinking and relevant customer centric plans that effectively delivers all commercial aspects of the products you buy, including digital
- Support Senior Buyer / Buyer stock and cash against targets, as well as effectively manage relationships with suppliers
- Manage relationships with all relevant internal departments
- Demonstrate and deliver plans to achieve effective use of time, professional execution of role and personal growth goals

**To qualify for the Assistant Buyer position you must have -**
- Previous experience within Buying at an AB, BAA or BA level
- Background in Retail, Ecommerce or B2C
- Has managed non-fashion and non-food categories is desirable but not essential - open to any category
- Proficient numerical and analytical skills
- Strong organizational skills, with proven ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
