**Job Purpose**

Responsible for delivering special events such as film premieres, festivals, Q&As, screen hires and 35mm presentations as well as supporting the cinema teams to present the day to day films.

**Main Duties**

All Main Duties are to be carried out consistently to meet the business needs at all cinemas within the Region.

35mm Support

Ensuring all 35mm and 70mm projection equipment is cared for, operating safely (fit for purpose) and operating to its optimum technical capacity;
Making up and breaking down of film content;
Managing the logistics of receiving and sending back film prints.

Event Support

Providing a professional service to third party hirers of the venue;
Ensuring all AV equipment is cared for, operating safely (fit for purpose) and operating to its optimum technical capacity;
Providing technical support prior to, during and following the event; Liaising with festival organisers, outside contractors and Talent; And all 35mm support duties as detailed above.

Cinema Support and General Duties

Xenon lamp changes as required;
Training cinema staff on how to use the projection and sound equipment to screen material to high standards of presentation in accordance with the cinema's timetable;
Providing such other training as is required to enable others to manage projection duties in your absence;
Resolving any relevant issues or escalating when necessary.

Undertaking any other duties which may be reasonably requested of you by the Management for the effective functioning of the cinema and projection rooms.
