**Supply Chain Expeditor**

**Role Overview**:
Working within the UK Sales Supply Chain team, the post-holder will provide support to our customer base ensuring their deliveries meet required shipment dates.

**Your objectives and responsibilities will focus on**
- Keeping supplier purchase orders in line with delivery targets and communicating frequently with customers in light of any issues or support required
- Ensuring our commercial team have clear and concise information on the status of orders and that we are achieving our agreed service levels
- Managing the order book - involving alignment of customer requested dates with delivery from suppliers. Reconciliation of date discrepancies with the commercial teams and liaising with our warehouse on shipping requirements
- Proactively managing our open supplier orders in line with customer requested dates and expediting/de-expediting where required
- Working with the technical teams to offer alternative products which satisfy customer requirements in light of supply chain insufficiencies
- Collaboration with UK Supply planning teams to ensure timely response and effective communication
- Maintaining good working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders

**Your previous experience is likely to include.**
- Understanding and experience of supply chain/material management fundamentals
- Resolving challenging customer situations and complex problem solving
- Collecting and interpreting quantitative data
- Working with international suppliers
- CRM and JDE experience

**To be successful in this role you will**
- Be proficient in the use of excel and Microsoft Office suite
- Be an excellent networker and relationship builder
- Possess excellent interpersonal skills
- Be well organised and plan workload requirements well
- Show positive commercial awareness
