My client, an established financial services business in Central London, are looking to recruit an experienced Business Information Security Officer.
Key Responsibilities for Business Information Security Officer
- Ensure compliance with the information security policies, directives and guidelines
- User access rights management, including annual review of access management
- Facilitate periodic vulnerability assessment activity in coordination with Local IT and Group Information Security (GIS) function
- Deliver Information security projects initiated by Group as well Country in a timely manner
- Work with internal stakeholders on the cyber security initiatives taken by group CISO
- Coordinate with GIS to assist in performing penetration testing on UK plc technology infrastructure
- Risk Control Self Assessments for Information and Cyber Security and Business Impact Analysis
- Ensure the proper execution of ICS control requirements by gathering information on a timely basis
- Manage Visa Risk Manager events and attend alerts, customer enquiries and dispute resolution
- Regulatory reporting of Payment Fraud (REP017) and Operational and Security Risk (REP018)
- Facilitate internal and external audit reviews for Information & Cyber Security and Access Control Management
- Produce MIS and Dashboards in consultation with the Head of Technology / CISO for Senior Management and Board of Directors
- Develop and maintain local standard operating procedures that are required to perform BISO function effectively
- Deliver a programme of planned compliance reviews and ensure any gaps are addressed, jointly with the GIS team under CISO leadership
- Ensure that internal stakeholders present the highlighted security risk in the local management committee
- Promote awareness by developing and implementing information security awareness and training programme
- Ensure all staff members complete the information security awareness training and track any non-compliance
- Ensure that asset / technical owner implement the recommended and suggested controls proposed by Group
- Gather information associated to information security incidents in accordance with the security incident management standard and share with security incident response team for analysis
- Respond to enquiries from staff and provide security advice in accordance with Group Information Security Policy, Directive and Guideline
- Work with internal stakeholders to develop relationships to help promote and improve information security and provide security advice on procurements, projects and new initiatives as required
- Work with Business Continuity Team during events for interruption of information systems
- Ensure that business shares local security and regulatory advisory with CISO
- Serve as an internal consulting resource for information security
- Monitor and report emerging security trends, risks, new guidance or standards (internal and external) and security enhancing technologies
