Overall responsibility:
Undertake daily warehouse and B1 driving duties, to include the following key tasks:

- Housekeeping: ensure that the warehouse and delivery vehicle are kept ordered and tidy at all times.
- Goods Receipting: all goods in, should be checked and receipted within 4 hours of arrival if at all possible, the Warehouse Assistant should act as the primary checkers of the goods and liaise with the Warehouse Controller to ensure that the checked goods are double checked/approved by the Warehouse Controller. All receipted/approved goods received must be stored in the designated stock locations by the Warehouse Assistants.
- Picking Finished Product and Spare Parts Orders: all orders are to be picked by the Warehouse Assistants, who must work accurately by ensuring that the equipment picked matches the part numbers and quantities shown on the dispatch note. Once the orders are picked, the Warehouse Assistants are to liaise with the Warehouse Controller, so that all picked orders are double checked/approved by the Warehouse Controller and no order should be packed or dispatched until the Warehouse Controller has approved the consignment.
- Driving Duties: the Warehouse Assistants will carry out driving duties depending on the needs of the business, following all routes and scheduled drops/collections, as instructed by the Warehouse Controller. As driving duties will involve face-to-face contact with customers, the Warehouse Assistants must undertake their driving duties in a professional manner at all times. Any issues whilst driving must be directed to the Warehouse Controller, so that potential delays are kept to the minimum.
The Warehouse Assistants must ensure that they adhere to all driving and tacho-graph regulations, ensuring that all daily vehicle checks are carried out and any defects are reported to the Warehouse Controller before commencing driving duties.

Other tasks to include:

- Assisting with Daily/Weekly stock checks.
- To ensure that Build Modifications are completed according to Company procedures and applicable Health and Safety regulations.
- To ensure compliance with current legislation in respect of fork-lift/reach trucks and the delivery vehicle.
- To ensure safe loading and unloading of delivery vehicles.
- To ensure all Health and Safety protocols are upheld.
- Carrying out Fire Marshall Duties.

**Requirements**:

- Counterbalance Fork Lift and Reach Truck Licenses.
- Clean driving licence.
- Ability to work with other colleagues to achieve common goals.
- Very good attention to detail.
- An excellent attitude towards providing consistently high levels of Customer Service.
- A flexible approach to the demands and needs of our customers and the business in general.
- Basic IT knowledge including standard Microsoft Office packages and Navision/CRM type software
- Good literacy and numeracy skills
- Good communication skills - both verbal and written
- An excellent awareness of Quality issues and adherence to company’s Quality Policy.
