**What's the Proserv Apprentice Programme**:
The Proserv Apprentice Programme is your first step to building an exciting career. The skills and experience you will develop over a period of three to four years will make you a highly skilled and valued member of the Proserv team whilst gaining a nationally recognised Apprenticeship.

The position is within the Project & Engineering Team based at Proserv’s Tullos facility, our Sampling Centre of excellence, which designs sampling systems globally for the oil and gas market.

The Apprentice Designer will work alongside experienced designers, developing their skills to gain understanding of products and design methods, with a view to working closely with the Engineering and Project teams providing support utilising SolidWorks 3D & AutoCAD LT 2D software packages.

On assignment of project-based tasks, the successful applicant will work within a small multiskilled CAD team to produce designs, calculations and drawings along with other engineering documentation. As part of a small team, the designers are multi skilled and possess the ability to expand skillsets with the support of the team, as well as self teach.

**What Does the Apprenticeship Involve**:
Working in a supported learning environment to develop skills and knowledge which will assist you to complete your formal qualification and progress in your career. It will include a mixture of on-the-job training, mentoring, coaching and attending college.

**What Are the Expectations of the Apprentice**:

- Undertake all elements of the apprentice development programme
- Take personal responsibility for your development
- Perform all activities in accordance with Proserv health and safety guidelines and under the direction of supervisors
- Represent the company in a professional manner

**What's the Recruitment Process**:
If you make it through to the short list, you will be invited to attend an assessment day at our Head Office in Westhill. This will include an interview, an aptitude test, group exercise and a chance for you to see around our facility & meet our existing apprentices.
