Main Responsibilities
**Position**: Bar and Cellar Supervisor
**Responsible to**: Head of Bar and Cellar, Head of Operations
**Responsible for**:Cellar Assistants, Bar Supervisors, Bar staff
**Main Objectives**:
To be responsible for maintaining a high level of wet stock management including stock rotation, effective stock distribution within all areas of the business and precise stocktakes; essentially oversee the entire journey of the wet stock on site. Oversee bar function on live events. Support and develop a cellar and bar team. Ensure a high standard of housekeeping is maintained & ensure all equipment that relates to the department is cleaned and kept in good working order.

- Previous experience working in a bar/cellar team in a demanding, fast paced wet lead environment with a turnover of a minimum of £1m per annum.
- Personal license holder
**Duties & Responsibilities**:
- Support bar and cellar manager to mange stock levels
- Support stock counts and drive wet COS%
- Ensure an effective stock rotation procedure, operating the FIFO system.
- Ensure any stock transfers are recorded on the event preparation documentation.
- Ensure stocktakes are accurate and completed for all areas of the business.
- Responsible for maintaining the company standards for cellar operations including cellar cleanliness.
- Be responsible for set up and break down of bars.
- Manage bar operations on live events.
- Assisting training of all those involved in sales and service of beverage products and ensuring all are aware of legislative requirements.
- To assist with paperwork and to be fully conversant with all paperwork involved in running the bars efficiently and to ensure the correct paperwork is completed for due diligence.
- To supervise bar and cellar team whilst on site.
- Guarantee availability at peak/busy periods for the business.
- All tasks are carried out with Sodexo Health & Safety regulations in mind, always documenting all H&S tasks.
- That any damage or health and safety issues are reported in a timely manner.
- That all waste products are disposed of and recorded as per wastage SOP.
- That PPE personnel protective equipment is worn when required to carry out specific cellar tasks.
- Complete the close down walk round documentation to ensure all areas are left clean and tidy at the end of the shift.
- To conduct duties in a manner that reflects the business in a positive way.
- To comply with any other reasonable request made by the management team.
