**A Hybrid working model**

**Department Summary**
GPS is the creative production building based in the heart of Soho. We have teams of offline editors, colour graders, 2D artists, CG & MGFX artists, sound designers and of course producers to manage the jobs.
We get involved with production as early as possible in order to advise on the best route through what can be a complex process.
**What does a Nuke Artist do at Hogarth?**
As a mid-level Nuke Artist, you will be a key member of a small and dynamic team delivering outstanding creative and technical compositing and VFX work on a wide range of projects.
**Responsibilities**
- Compositing, Tracking, Keying, Rotoscoping and Secondary Colour Grading in Nuke, all quickly, accurately and convincingly
- Integration of 3D and motion graphics elements
- Liaising with the Nuke supervisor and production team on timings for prospective jobs
- Streamlining workflow processes so that projects can be reassessed and re-versioned quickly and effectively
- Advising and managing projects after completion - fulfilling any project consolidation that might be required to successfully archive projects
**Reporting lines and key stakeholders**
This role reports to the Nuke Supervisor.
You will work closely with Production, Bookings and the wider 2D team.
**Requirements**:
- A showreel demonstrating a good range of compositing skills, Commercials work is desirable
- Extensive experience of using Nuke's node based compositing workflow in a production environment
- A good understanding of colourspace principles and the visual effects pipeline
- A working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator software
- Good organisational skills with ability to prioritise tasks and work to tight deadlines
- Excellent communication skills and team working ethos
- An interest in the current development of visual effects technology and techniques
- Familiarity with Keen Tool's Geotracker plug-in would be beneficial
