Our client is one of the UK’s leading property finance firms, providing an innovative approach to the delivery of legal work in the areas of lender services, finance mortgages and property.

They are looking to recruit a Legal Secretary to work in their conveyancing/property department.

You will be required to have an understanding of conveyancing/property administration processes. In the role you will assist and support fee earners with secretarial and administrative duties.

**Responsibilities**:

- Providing a support service to the fee earners
- Assisting in communication with clients, estate agents and legal representatives
- Undertaking administration duties associated with file management, updating and the operation of the case management system
- Receiving and sorting incoming mail where required
- Scheduling files for archiving and retrieval of files from storage
- Property and Land Registry searches
- To answer the telephones promptly, taking messages and following up where necessary in a proactive manner
- Updating client details
- Handle all confidential information discreetly

**Experience needed**:

- Excellent organisational and time management
- Excellent attention to detail
- Property law experience
