**WHAT TO EXPECT**

Through dealing closely with Programme Manager, Chief Engineer and supporting functions, this role will lead the releasing activities and associated reporting as part of the “Phase” team covering JLR Model Year related cycle plan programmes.

Project Planner in Release will be responsible for:
- Meetings
- Own the release meetings (with programme support)
- Schedule release meetings to support BoM deadlines

Reporting
- Chart progress to glide path S,T,P releases
- PST / LMM / LMLR Release metrics presentation

Releasing
- Concern completions and cancellations
- Ensure XCL releases are complete as required to hit specific programme deadlines (given enablers in place)
- Correct error states as found in releases
- Expedite best release solution through ERS resources.
- RC15 IVS Optimal checks & completion (non-PVT)

Scorecard
- PACN ageing Scorecard metric maintenance (programme to complete / cancel)
- Concern ageing Scorecard metric maintenance and progression of high ageing to complete or cancel
- iCREATE ageing Scorecard metric maintenance and progression of high ageing to complete or cancel
- Throughput metrics for Release Team members

Programme Assumptions
- PACN status maintenance for WERS related PACN’s
- Progression of high ageing PACN’s to complete or cancel

Trackers
- Release Tracker maintenance
- Night letter issue and accurate reporting
- Ageing task status update (finance, MP&L, Manufacturing etc).
- PFEP tracker maintenance - concern loading and OK / NOK checks - co-ordinate resolutions for failures

**Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities**
- Own the release meetings (with programme support) and schedule release meetings to support BoM deadlines
- Concern, PACN and iCREATE corrections, completions and cancellations, and ownership of cross-carline concerns
- PST / LMM / LMLR Release metrics presentation
- Release Tracker maintenance and Night letter issue, ensuring accurate reporting
- Ageing task status update (Finance, MP&L, Manufacturing etc).
- PACN, WERS Concern and iCREATE ageing Scorecard metric maintenance

**WHAT YOU'LL NEED**

**Knowledge, Skills and Experience**

Essential:

- Significant experience of Project Management in a major multi-year complex cross-functional programme
- Evidence of Leadership skills and ability to drive success from ambiguity
- Relevant degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Proven process improvement knowledge (SIPPE, 8D, PR-AIMS etc)
- Working knowledge of WERS
- Qualified experience of Excel

Desirable:

- Experience of stakeholder management at all levels
- Working knowledge of PACN’s and iCREATE
- Qualified experience of Macro coding, Exalead, Elastic
