Our Collections Advisors plays a crucial role in managing and facilitating the collection of outstanding debts owed by customers. The primary responsibility of a Collections Advisor is to ensure timely payments while maintaining a positive relationship with the customer. The role requires a delicate approach as customers may be facing financial difficulty. If you're used to dealing with customers whether it is face to face or over the phone in any capacity then you have the potential to become an exceptional Collections Advisor.

**Responsibilities**:

- Working in a busy call centre environment;
- Receiving calls from customers that owe money and processing payments;
- Using your initiative to negotiate payment arrangements and setting up affordable repayment plans for customers if payment in full cannot be collected;
- Maintaining call quality whilst ensuring call lengths are not excessive and to help reduce lost calls;
- Occasional outbound calls to those who have failed to make payment / contact.
- Making informed decisions based on customers unique circumstances and information provided;
- The use of in-house dialling system (full training is given).

**Personal Attributes**:

- Exceptional customer service
- Experience in collections is desirable but not essential as full training will be given;
- Natural people skills;
- Desire to help and find the best solution for both clients and customers;
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a results-driven mindset;
- Excellent communication - oral and written;
- Excellent telephone manner;
- Computer skills including the use of Microsoft programs including Word and Excel;
- A positive and approachable manner;
- A strong background in customer service, telephone support, call handling or collections is advantageous.

A starting salary of £23,731.50 rising to £27,300 once fully trained and on the phones independently (usually within 4 weeks) plus;
