**Job Description** Production Supervisor**,** Warrington**
**Shifts**:We operate shifts on either days or nights, and are open to applicants who prefer Nights 6pm till 6a, 4 on 4 off, or Days 6am till 6pm 4 on 4 off (we do not mix days and nights)
As part of our Unbox tribe, the Supervisors role is to efficiently and effectively manage their department. Areas include Start of line, Ice, pick lines, clarification, Mezz floor. You will ensure that business and departmental targets and objectives are continually achieved. The Supervisor will role model behaviours in-line with Gousto Ownership Principles, to create a five star workplace culture.
**Core Responsibilities**:
- Manage, develop and motivate your team to achieve great culture and results You will oversee performance management, training, recruitment, absenteeism.
- Understand and interpret specifications to ensure that the forward planning of production is achieved in the most cost-effective manner possible and optimising efficiencies.
- Ensure that quality and hygiene standards, as set by the Quality/Technical Department, are properly communicated, understood and achieved at all times. You will demonstrate proper co-operation with all Departments. Manage the consistent implementation of the Quality and HACCP Plans.
- Carry out routine inspections of your department and recommend improvements that need to be made.
- Ensure that you have a complete and thorough knowledge of the budget within your department and report any variance against these standards, on a weekly basis to your senior manager, coupled with an explanation of action taken to eliminate adverse variances.
- In conjunction with other managers associated with the processes in your department conduct a formal period review of your department’s performance against standard, personnel issues including labour turnover, absenteeism, training, morale, and general staff welfare.
**Qualifications** Who you are**:
We're looking for a progressive Supervisor who is dynamic, thrives working at pace and understands automation, systems, curating culture and leadership. We're looking for someone who is ambitious and wants to grow and learn.
- You will be an existing manager of a team
- Excellent IT skills; Docs, Sheets - we use Google Workspace, Slack
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills as interaction at all levels of the business will be required.
- Excellent organisational skills are a must in this fast moving and challenging environment.
- Advantageous - Worked with food with knowledge of HACCP, GMP
