**The Role**

**What you will need to be successful**
- You have the relevant skills for working in a digital and/or IT support role, including the use of helpdesk and issue management software, or
- You have the skills required to carry out manual functional testing of digital products and services effectively.
- You have good knowledge of ITIL (IT Infrastructure Library) process governance and methodology.
- You have knowledge of information security compliance and best practice.
- You have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- You are a good communicator with experience of building effective working partnerships with internal and external users and partners.
- You have a Higher National Diploma (SCQF Level 7) or professional accredited course in computing or IT, or equivalent attested vocational or work-based training.
- You have ITIL training and certification or would be motivated to gain this certification within the role.
- You have ISTQB (International Software Testing Qualification Board) Foundation Level training and certification or would be motivated to gain this certification within the role.

**Working Hours / Pattern**
We see this role being based on full time working hours of 35 hours per week, however we would still like to hear from you if you are interested in the role but have alternative needs in relation to working hours or pattern.
