I am recruiting for a **Registered Manager** to join a fantastic client of mine in their specialist Residential Living Service **in Rainham, Essex**. The service provides 10 beds, across 3 bungalows for adults with a range of complex needs; Learning Disabilities, Mental Health and Autism. My client, a National Charity, are looking for a new Registered Manager who has aproven track record in delivering quality improvement plans.
**Key Responsibilities of a Registered Manager**:

- Drive planning activities within the service, ensuring relevant and challenging objective setting and ongoing performance tracking, developing turn around action plans as may be necessary.
- Deliver effective, professional and commercially focused briefings and supervision meetings with staff and ensure that information, reporting & communications flow up/down is effective.
- Work in a consistent and positive way with managers and other team members to ensure people always receive a great service from the whole team. Ensure all organisation policies and specific agreed ways of working in the service are followed.
- Actively lead the team’s development by coaching and training colleagues in person centred support practices, appraisals, and supervision, giving and acting on received feedback; management of risks of the individual(s) they support through understandingwhat is important to the individual(s), involving their families, wherever possible, and ensuring decisions are accurately recorded.
- To have a full understanding of CQC, their KLOE, their requirements and how to report any abuse and/or other related actions

**Register Manager Requirements**:

- Educated to degree level or equivalent. Holds relevant CMI/NVQ/QCF Level 4/5 or other business/management qualification.Other relevant professional memberships and/or specialist qualifications.
- 5 years’ experience working in a Learning Disability/Dual Diagnosis environment.
- 3 years’ relevant management experience
- Service user/families/friends/advocates Relationship Building/Management
- Professionals/Stakeholders Relationship Building/Management
- Competency with IT systems
- Business Planning & Process
