An exciting opportunity has arisen for an IC Coordinator to join our Internal Comms team on a 12 Mth FTC basis. The role operates in a hybrid-remote capacity, but the home office for the contract period could be any of our three basis of operation.

Railpen is responsible for the safekeeping and investment of around £33 billion in assets and the administration of of the Railways Pension Scheme, one of the UK's largest and longest established pension funds. It also provides administration services to a wide variety of schemes across sectors outside of the rail industry.

Our heritage of supporting the pension needs of the rail industry and its employees gives us our name and drives our passion for how we serve our members. Railpen takes a holistic view, focusing on how we serve members today and how we can positively impact the communities and the world they will retire into.

The role

Do you have a passion for engaging colleagues and supporting them to feel a part of our community? If so, we have an exciting opportunity to join the Internal Communications team on a one-year fixed-term contract or internal secondment to support during a period of parental leave as an Internal Communications Coordinator.

Reporting to the Head of Internal Communications, the role is pivotal in supporting the team's work to ensure our colleagues are informed, supported and feel their voice matters as part of our wider conversation.

With a new Internal Communications strategy signed off at the end of 2023, this is an exciting time to join the team as they build out their plans to deliver against the goals.
