Bar Steward

The Royal British Legion Scotland - Crieff Branch are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Bar Steward to operate the bar within our members club.

We require someone who can

1 Utilise their previous bar experience to pour and serve a wide variety of beverages and ensure accuracy in measuring spirits.

2 Deliver outstanding customer service: We expect you to warmly greet our members and create a welcoming atmosphere in the club

3 Answer the phone and take party and event bookings

4 Handle cash and card payments: Process cash and card transactions with accuracy, balance the till at the end of the shift

5 Manage and maintain stock: Regular stock takes must be carried out and orders placed with out supplier to replenish stock

6 Keep the bar area clean, organised and ensure beer lines are regularly cleaned weekly

7 Adhere strictly to legal regulations concerning the responsible serving of alcoholic beverages and usage of the club

8 Ensure non-members visiting the club have been signed in

You also must have the ability to verify the legal age of customers before serving alcohol if required

About you

Previous Bar experience is essential

You are a self-starter and happy to work mainly on your own

Ability to supervise part-time staff when required

Available to work weekend and evening shifts, with a maximum of 30 hours per week

You are responsible with demonstrated integrity and trustworthiness in handling cash and alcoholic beverages.

Must be of legal drinking age and eligible to work in the UK

Rate of pay is £12ph

**Salary**: £12.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Every weekend
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Crieff: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Hospitality: 1 year (preferred)
- customer Service: 1 year (preferred)
- Bartending: 1 year (preferred)
