**Electrical Working Supervisor**

Supporting the Northwest Division of GML who operate out of the Warrington office. The responsibilities of the Electrical Working Supervisor will include but are not limited to the following duties; the installation and maintenance of electrical systems and services, being flexible in terms of completing additional non
- electrical tasks that fall within your capabilities and skillset, overseeing multi-discipled tradesmen in a supervisory capacity when required, issuing of permits, meeting with customers, promoting the business, scoping of electrical works, ordering materials, promoting safe working practices and ensuring GML electrical safety rules, NICEIC and associated BS standards are adhered to in all instances. Working Supervisor will be assigned an Electrical Apprentice that they will mentor and develop and work alongside on a daily basis.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Primary - Project Installation Works - Ranging from minor works to larger complex MEP projects.
- Job scoping, site surveys, pricing support to Project Managers.
- Visiting site to survey client requirements, supporting with the generation of competitive quotations with support of GML management.
- Oversee and coordinate the mobilisation of projects.
- Liaise with colleagues with regards to scheduling of works and labour allocation.
- Generate electrical RAMS for submission to the client.
- Collate site M&E drawings and information.
- Authorised Person responsibilities (AP).
- Complete initial electrical site safety reports before each job commences.
- Maintenance of electrical systems and services.
- Completion of non-electrical tasks that fall within your capabilities and skillset, as the business requires.
- Work alongside / with electrical sub-contractors in some instances.
- Issue permits to work to GML sub-contractors.
- Liaise with customers, build relationships and promote GML as a professional services business.
- Work away from home as the business requires.
- Work overtime during weekdays, at weekends or on nights as the business requires.
- Complete electrical site safety audits and electrical completion paperwork.
- Testing and commissioning, generation of NICEIC certificates, fixed wire testing.
- Ensure safe working practices and GML electrical safety rules are followed in all instances, for both self-delivered and sub-contracted works.

**Administration**:

- Ensure electricians’ job sheets and van sheets are completed and authorised in a timely manner.
- Ensure NICEIC certificates are fully completed and issued upon completion of electrical installation works.
- Complete near miss reporting on a regular basis, including reporting of all accidents immediately.
- Deliver GML’s ‘Tool Box Talks’ and Site Inductions to sub-contract labour when required.
- Complete red line drawings for ‘As-builts’ when schemes are completed.
- Complete GML cost estimates and assist with the generation of formal quotations to customers from time to time.

**Key Measures & Targets**:

- Ensure all paperwork is completed in a timely manner
- Ensure completed permits are closed out in all instances
- Generate new opportunities, upsell GML as a business, secure additional works
- Ensure a courteous, polite and professional service is delivered to customers
- Ensure all drawings are red-lined and amended correctly before returning to close out team
- Ensure the safe delivery of projects, on time, within budget and handed over snag free.
- Customer feedback / service satisfaction, team working, respect for colleagues and time management
- Full Driving Licence
- Reside within 30 miles of Warrington
- Qualified Electrician - C&G 2357
- Electrical Inspection and testing C&G 2391
- Minimum 5 years post qualified experience
- Valid JIB / ECS / CSCS Card

**Desirable**:

- SSSTS / SMSTS / IOSH
- IPAF
- PASMA
- First Aid
- BS 7671 - (18th Edition)
- LVAP
- DBS Check - Basic or Enhanced (will be completed upon appointment if not current)
