On behalf of this organisation, AMS are looking for a **Senior Java Angular Developer** for a**6-month** contract **based 50/50 London/remote.**

**Job description - the role**

The Senior Java Angular Developer will support within the Risk Systems Applications Services team based in London.

The role is a technical programming role, focusing on the user interface developments covering enhancement and changes for our strategic Credit risk platforms whilst ensuring compatibility with our legacy tools.

As a Senior Java Angular Developer you will be responsible for:

- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code
- Integration server side logic with front end code
- Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
- Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatisation
- Integration with a variety of data storage solutions
- Be part of a growing team that is at the heart of our investment in regulatory and business driven change
- Rapidly prototyping solutions to quickly prove/disprove new concepts
- Excellent Java including Spring framework, SprintBoot, JPA/Hibernate and RESTful
- Proficient in recent versions of Angular
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and functional programming paradigms
