We are seeking to appoint an efficient school admin assistant with excellent administration experience.
This is a full time position available to start immediately from Monday to Friday and working hours will be 8:30 am-16:30pm.
This is an oversubscribed, friendly, fully comprehensive school located in Newham. Attitude to learning scores across all their students are "very good to excellent". Work-life balance is of the utmost importance to them.

Main responsibilities for this role:
- To be responsible for maintaining the student database for all admissions, main school and nursery, with excellent knowledge and experience of SIMs
- To provide administrative support, e.g. photocopying, typing and collation of pupils files
- To administer first aid (a first aid certificate is desirable but training can be provided)
- Ability to undertake reception and telephone duties, answering enquiries from staff, pupils, parents and the general public in a calm and professional manner
- Managing diaries, scheduling meetings, booking rooms and event planning
- To work with the Admissions Coordinator in planning, organising and delivering successful admissions events, this includes creating tickets
- To ensure the receipt and processing of complete and valid documentations
**Required Skills**:
- Relevant experience in a school environment with 2 recent professional references
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- An enhanced DBS on the update service
- Experience about Microsoft Office and Suite
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritise things without assistance
- Excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills
- Punctual and has a solid track record of attendance
- 2 recent professional references
