At the Mosaic Practice we are currently looking for a committed and experienced Specialist Speech and Language Therapist to join us on a full-time basis with flexibility around hours.

We are a highly specialist assessment and treatment centre for children with complex and profound communication and neurological difficulties. Our focus is to provide bespoke treatment to support individuals and families to enhance their communication.

Working for The Mosaic Practice, you will be able to manage your own caseload of children with complex needs. In turn, our varied client portfolio, access to a supportive team and regular supervision sessions, will give you great opportunities to enhance your expertise

**You will be**:

- Delivering specialist speech and language therapies to clients
- Using expert knowledge of standardised and informal assessment tools to aid diagnosis and explore possible alternative communication systems as required
- Implementing and evaluating specialist AAC therapy and programmes of care for clients with a wide range of complex speech, language and communication difficulties
- Identifying alternative methods of communication using AAC tools and strategies

**You will need the following**:

- A qualification in Speech and Language therapy
- Ability to work with a range of communication systems - including high and low tech communication and switches
- An awareness of the cognitive capabilities associated with a range of disorders
- Knowledge of muscular disorders
- Ability to adapt your approach to individual children’s needs
- A full UK driving licence and own your own car
