**Your new company
**With decades of experience this small principal contractor works across a range of disciplines, from highway and bridge construction, highway maintenance and street lighting design. They have an increasing interest in public realm projects having recently workedclosely with several Local Authority customers to manage a programme of improvement schemes across various boroughs helping to improve the area for residents, pedestrians, cyclists, and businesses.

**Your new role
**With work continuing to roll in, this family run outfit is now looking to take on a Junior Quantity Surveyor. This is role presents a great opportunity for someone new to the industry to get their foot in the door in a supportive company that will support yourgrowth in the role.

**What you?ll be doing
- Helping send out enquiries on our bigger projects that are coming up
- Raising subcontract orders
- Assessing payment notices
- Site visits and measurements
- Aiding the Senior QS in the administration of sub-contracts

**About you
**Alongside a willingness to join the team and get stuck in, the successful **Junior Quantity Surveyor **will need to demonstrate a desire to grow and learn within the role. Furthermore, you should have:

- Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering qualification or working towards, (experience and time served rather than formal qualifications will be considered)
- Some knowledge on NEC 4
- Demonstrate knowledge and experience of Commercial Management works on site
