- **Title**:Operations and Activity Coordinator
- **Reporting to**:Programme Manager
- **Contract**:Full Time, Permanent
- **Hours**: Monday to Friday 9am-5pm, except during Easter and summer school holidays
when longer hours (8am - 6pm) will be expected. Some weekend work also required in the
run up to and during camp seasons.
- **Pay**: £21 - £24k per annum (pro rata) plus £1,500 loyalty bonus annually (pro rata)

**Summary of Position**:
Ultimate Activity Camps are a leading provider of holiday childcare in the UK. Our trusted
holiday camps operate at nearly 40 venues across the country offering outstanding
childcare and activity provision to children whilst providing peace of mind to parents.

A rapidly growing business, we are looking for an Operations and Activity Coordinator to join
our full-time Operations team to assist in the preparation and delivery of our quality holiday
programmes. Working with our Programme Manager, your role will include activity
development, paperwork and equipment preparation, input into staff training, preparation of
resources and supporting to get our camps ready to run.

Once up and running your focus will be on the quality control and operational support of the
camps to ensure that they are running successfully and that we are delivering the
outstanding experience we promise our parents, children and host schools.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

**Programme Support**
- Support the Programme Manager to plan and create sport, play and creative activity resources
- for our programmes, ensuring fun activities are on offer every day at every location
- For our shorter seasons, create weekly timetables using our timetable builder programme
- Work with the Programme Manager to develop activity training resources and research new
- activities that fit within the regulatory framework
- Supporting with kit preparation and maintenance across all programmes
- Prepare essential documents and equipment for on camp
- Support the Programme Manager to develop new Ultimate programmes**Programme Delivery and Training**
- Support with the preparation, set up and delivery of staff training and assessment days
- Updating, printing and collating paperwork for camp
- Organise mobile phones and tablets for camp
- Support with camp set ups at the start of school holiday periods
- Visit, monitor and support our onsite teams to ensure all camps are living up to our Ultimate
- mission to ‘Inspire Children Every Day’
- Ensure the Operations Team are informed of any problems on camp involving any aspect of
- camp, staff and our host schoolsDriving (using company or hired vehicles)- Deliver equipment to schools ahead of camps.
- Assist and coordinate staff in setting up on induction days.
- Deliver additional equipment, paperwork and resources where necessary.

**Essential Requirements**:

- Aged 21 or over for vehicle hire regulations.
- Full, clean driving licence held for 2 years or more.
- Be highly organised with an excellent attention to detail.
- Good time management skills.
- Be an enthusiastic team player.
- Good level of physical fitness
- Have experience and ability to meet deadlines.
- Able to commute daily to our office just outside Oxford

Desirable Requirements:
- Previous camp or holiday programme experience.
- Experience coaching or teaching children.
