**Brokerage Assistant**

Be part of a team providing an integrated financial administrative and management service, entailing accurate, timely and robust budget management support ensuring all systems and advice complies with the financial framework and policy.

To be able to input data accurately into the team’s database and be able to produce reports. To undertake data maintenance and analysis using spreadsheets

Reconcile service based systems to the core accounting system

Process payments to Providers, suppliers, clients and members of staff efficiently through the appropriate systems

Provide financial management information and advice to budget holders in respect of budget preparation and monitoring.

Support the Brokerage Officer with the tasks relating to the management of theprocurement cards.

Collate data and provide accurate management information with regard to Grants.

To assist in the preparation of detailed annual revenue budgets, including profiles of spend, in accordance with the agreed corporate timetable, ensuring that these reflect the operational plan and service priorities.

To assist in the monitoring and reconciling of revenue and capital budgets against spend and profile, compile projections together with details of and reasons for potential/actual over or under spending and report to the Brokerage Officer on a monthly basis or as directed.
