Has it been a while since you dusted off those running shoes? Or maybe it's something you fancy taking up? Maybe a running buddy would help?
- We could all stand to be a bit more active, it helps us with not only our physical health, but our mental health as well. We support a chatty and strong minded woman with autism in her 30s, who would like to do just this, and you could help- She would like someone to take her out for some gentle running and exercise in the local area. Perhaps to Havant Park or even over onto Hayling Island.For this role, you will need to be kind and patient, and have experience of autism. This lady has a strong personality, so a confident volunteer with a positive outlook would do well

It may take a little while for you to get to know each other before she feels fully comfortable with you, so this is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to grow a bond over time.

She has not been doing much to keep her fitness up recently, so this could be a good chance to build up your fitness together
- Times and days of volunteering are flexible, but mornings are unsuitable. It could be ideal for someone looking to volunteer after work. A weekly volunteer would be ideal, but if you are unable to commit to thisFor this role you will need to be:

- Over 18
- Have experience of autism
- Friendly and caring
- Reliable and patient
- Interested in others
- Accepting of others who might be different to yourself
- Willing to volunteer within guidelines and to take direction where necessary
- Good communication and listening skills
