Our recruitment days are held in our CQC outstanding rated service at Tyldesley but we are recruiting for roles across Greater Manchester - Blackley, Levenshulme, Whalley Range, Stockport, Moston. Experience with learning disabilities and Autism is always welcome, but we are also happy to train individuals whose values align with our own and are committed to offering outstanding person-centred care. **Time** -You will need to arrive by **10am and must be available until 12pm. You will find out if you have been offered a position on the day**
**Venue **- 4-10 Broom Lane, Levenshulme, Manchester, M19 2TW
On the day you will take part in short activities, both within groups and on a 1:1 basis. The activities will be both indoors and outdoors, so please ensure you wear suitable clothing and footwear, such as trainers.
- Have held a full **manual** UK/European driving licence for over 12 months (**any other licences including automatic licences will not be considered**). This is so we can insure you to drive our Company or the client's manual vehicles.
- Be able to work a flexible rota covering all days of the week, including sleep-ins on a rota basis.
- Must be eligible to work in the UK, as we do not offer sponsorship.
- Must be able to support individuals with their daily activities, these include; long hikes over hilly terrain, cycling, swimming and horse riding. Driving our company vehicles to and from the activities is essential.
Our support workers get a starting salary of £24,025.72 per annum plus an additional £68.90 per sleep-in (not waking nights) and enhanced overtime pay.
If you have 12 months learning disability/Autism experience and have completed a care certificate, QCF/NVQ level 2 in Health and Social Care or a relevant degree, we offer £24,538.80 per annum plus £68.90 per sleep-in (not waking nights).

**About us**
City Care is one of the UK’s leading independent providers of specialist services for adults with learning disabilities and Autistic Spectrum Condition (with associated learning disabilities). With more than 30 years’ experience we provide bespoke and innovative assessment and care packages in a range of supported living models which include 24hour domiciliary care and residential care home support services.
**The Role**
- Support in accessing activities including hiking, swimming, horse riding, dog walking, arts & crafts, music, drama and socialising with others at the local pub or restaurant.
- Making a real and lasting difference to people’s lives.
- Assisting with day to day living tasks.
- Cooking using a variety of foods.
- Completing paperwork to a good standard.
- Supporting our clients to live as independently as possible.

- Encouraging positive relations with all involved.
**All applicants will be required to hold a full UK/EU manual driving licence, held for a minimum of 12 months to enable you to drive the company or the client's vehicles.**
Shifts are given 4 to 6 weeks in advance. All rotas cover a 7 day period, mornings, afternoons, evenings, including sleep ins.

Supplemental pay types:
- Optional overtime at enhanced rate
