**About the Role**:
Due to account growth, we are looking for an experienced Senior Medical Writer to join us here at Ogilvy Health. Our superb team is dedicated to delivering high-quality, innovative, and impactful medical communication solutions. As a Senior Medical Writer, you will play a key role in shaping our clients' narratives and ensuring the dissemination of cutting-edge medical information.

**What You'll Do**:

- Contribute to a full range of medical education/communication programmes
- Ensure delivery of high-quality scientific content, reviewing work by more junior colleagues
- Lead discussions with clients and external experts, face to face and on calls
- Contribute to scientific strategy to inform tactical planning of accounts, both internally and with clients
- Help to identify organic growth opportunities on accounts
- Contributing to the scientific development of proposals and pitches
- Line management, mentoring, coaching, and training

**What You'll Need**:

- It's essential to the role that you have experience gained as a Medical Writer in a healthcare, medcomms or meded agency
- We'd love to see the scope of your, therapy area experience, project types and the audiences for which you have written (e.g. specialists, GPs, nurses, pharmacists and patients)
- Great communication skills, emotional intelligence and the the ability to adapt your approach according to the needs of clients and teams
- Familiarity with organic growth and contributing to proposals and pitches
- Ability to deliver events and large educational programmes, plus experience of digital projects
- Excellent understanding of pharmaceutical regulations, e.g. ABPI, GPP3, ICMJE
