**Summary / purpose of the position**
The Talent Acquisition Hub Lead will be part of the Global Talent Leadership team and provide strategic partnership and
oversight to the Ipsen Talent Acquisition function and related programs in collaboration with the Global Talent Acquisition
Operations Head and other TA Hub Heads.
S/he will have a team of approximately 3 direct reports covering recruitments in Ipsen’s sites in UK and Ireland - Slough, Milton Park, Wrexham, Dublin, and also support international affiliates with 2 dedicated direct reports.
S/he will collaborate with the Global Hub Team to develop and execute a range of planned recruitment strategies to meet a high volume of diverse requirements across the enterprise. S/he will be a consultative partner to the business by providing relevant talent market insights and innovative sourcing strategies to meet dynamic requisition needs.
This individual will cultivate a sense of community to increase talent acquisition collaboration and performance; s/he will actively partner and
collaborate with other recruiting hub leads, members of the business, and human resources teams.
This individual will be a hands-on leader who will collaborate to implement a data-driven recruiting organization that provides relevant analytics for talent acquisition and process excellence. S/he will also support employer branding
productivity.
This role reports to the Global Head of Talent.
**Main responsibilities / job expectations**
- Contribute to deploying talent acquisition strategies
- Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition Operations Lead to develop and roll out talent acquisition initiatives efficiently and effectively on their own perimeter.
- Execute programs, strategies, and tactics to ensure that Ipsen is positioned as a premier employer to continuously be able to attract and build a pipeline of top talents in the market
- Manage design and placement of recruiting related local advertising and marketing to ensure that the Ipsen brand and image is consistently applied in all recruiting activities, with support of HR
- Assist with monitoring administration of local referral program, ensuring high quality standards and response rates
- Help to manage the local budgets and vendor contracts/relationships with all relevant job posting sites (where applicable) - deploying preferred supplier strategy to ensure optimal vendor performance and appropriate pricing in
collaboration with the Global Talent Acquisition Ops Head.
- Implement strategies and best practices for contingent workforce procurement
- Develop key relationships with hiring managers, senior management, HRBPs, and other stakeholders to effectively consult, collaborate, and deliver on the Ipsen’s hiring strategy
- When relevant for new Affiliates, building TA strategy and local capabilities.
**Knowledge, abilities & experience**
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR or related discipline
- 5+ years of strategic talent acquisition experience, including 2+ years of professional management experience leading a team. Preference for recruiting experience in life sciences.
- Experience working with large complex organizations during periods of growth and change
- Strategic ability to localize regional talent acquisition strategies into actionable plans that are innovative and pragmatic
- Experience deploying programs to develop and maintain a robust pool of talent
- Proven experience in developing strong relationships through establishing trust and credibility with colleagues and customers
- Demonstrated track record of excellent decision-making abilities; ability to make decisions logically, methodically, and quickly.
- Outstanding communication skills: ability to communicate in a clear, concise, and effective manner
- Strong business acumen with an understanding of how strategic talent acquisition impacts the business
- Data-driven perspective; an analytic ability to drive a quantitative culture throughout talent acquisition
- Able to work within a matrix environment with proven track record of effectively influencing and navigating across organisational and geographical boundaries and building collaborative relationships that produce results
