Sheridan Maine is delighted to be partnering a Hospitality chain that is recruiting for an Accounts Assistant/Payroller. This role would ideally suit someone who is AAT qualified or studying towards qualification, but this is not essential - our client is more focused on finding a personable and enthusiastic individual.

**Responsibilities of the Accounts Assistant/ Payroller will include**:

- Weekly entry of timesheets- Weekly review of discrepancies between timesheets and PeopleHR for submission to HR- Supporting the monthly processing of payroll- Entry of payments onto Sage Payroll and reconciliation to Paycalcs- Processing starters, leavers, birthday holidays, age related increases and other amendments- Uploading of daily sales takings to Advanced Financials- Processing rent and supplier invoices- Reconciling statements- Investigating any order variances over agreed tolerance- Dealing with supplier queries- Setting up new supplier accounts**The successful Accounts Assistant/Payroller will require the following skills and experience**:

- 2+ years’ experience in an accounts department- High level of attention to detail and accuracy- Excellent communication skillsThe company offer a positive and supportive work environment along with good opportunities to progress.
