**Role description**

The main purpose of this regional role is to ensure timely and accurately processing of (bi-) monthly and annual payroll and time & attendance tasks, as well as all benefits related administration (proposals, renewals, annual review of offerings). HR Operationstasks, like preparation of letters, communication with public authorities etc. are also included. This is a "go
- to" role for most employee’s questions and requests.

**Key Accountabilities and objectives**:

- Accurate and timely collection of payroll input data for all entities received from HR and other departments
- Accurate and timely collection salaries and benefits forecast data
- Conducts close review/monitoring of records for payroll changes submitted
- Answering payroll questions from employees and/or managers concerning payroll mutations
- Accurate and timely processing of payroll invoices
- Accurate and timely processing of benefit plan mutations (e.g. Pension fund, medical plans,
- Create employers’ statements
- Prepares various payroll balance sheet account reconciliations incl. payroll SOX preparation
- Key interface between outsourced payroll provider ADP, and employees internally; as well as regular interaction with all external official bodies
- Owns end-to-end HR Operations, incl. Time & Attendance and HR Systems for the assigned geographies
- Preparation of month end, quarter end and year end activities incl. accruals
- Support with payroll, pension and benefits administration, promotions, and salary increases
- Project lead for assigned countries for the EMEA payroll and time & attendance harmonization project
- Participating in international HR projects
- Performs other duties assigned as needed

- **Competencies**:

- Minimum 1.5 years of working experience in a similar role within manufacturing and/or diagnostic organizations
- +5 years overall working experience in a similar or specialist role covering multiple countries within EMEA
- Associates’ or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or HR - Equivalent work experience will be considered in lieu of a degree
- Basic accounting skills
- High service orientation towards employees, manager, and other stakeholders
- Experience in working in projects, leading of projects desired
- Data rational and good numeracy skills
- Distinct quality awareness and precise working methods in the data processing
- Process-oriented approach in a dynamic environment
- IT literate - Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint as well as HRIS and payroll systems, preferably ADP or Oracle based solutions
- German language skills a plus
