Canteen Assistant

We are looking to recruit Kitchen Assistants who will be responsible for preparing hot & cold food at our new distribution centre in Appleton, Warrington.

We offer permanent, full time positions working any 5 days from 7 including weekends.

**You will be required to work 3 different shift patterns -**
- 6.00am - 2.00pm
- 10.00am - 6.00pm
- 12.00pm - 8.00pm

**Pay, working hours & benefits**:
We offer an hourly pay rate of £12.52. You will be guaranteed a certain number of hours. If you’re looking to earn a bit more then overtime is regularly available.

**Duties**:

- Food preparation tasks;
- Cooking and counter serving of meals;
- Receiving and moving of deliveries to kitchen storage;
- Replenishment of fridges
- Cleaning of kitchen utensils, appliances and surfaces.

**About You**:
Food hygiene is very important, so a basic food hygiene qualification would be desirable as well as an understanding of workplace health and safety.
