We have an exciting opportunity for a full time Inventory Analyst on a 7 month Secondment to join Booker Retail Partners at our Hemel Hempstead Office. Joining the wider product supply team, you will take responsibility for achieving and maximising Company product availability targets through careful planning and working closely with internal and external stakeholders.

**_You will be required to work in the office at least 2 days a week._**
- Optimise service levels to customers within business unit and the supply chain.
- Organising and processing General, seasonal, and promotional allocation.
- To ensure Allocations are planned and executed accurately and on time.
- To provide Service Level Updates through excel to the wider buisness
- To provide analysis & performance tracking on promotions, range changes, events, sales
- To ensure CST queries are responded to within SLA and quality, identifying trends and putting in solutions to deliver improved retailer service.
- Ensure key issues are communicated to internal stakeholders and support with resolution.
- Supporting Seasonal Events and activities
- Work in partnership with internal stakeholder teams to ensure that trading activities are identified and complement supply chain goals and vice versa.
- Measuring the costs & benefits associated with your work.
- Following our Business Code of Conduct and always acting with integrity and due diligence.

To be successful in this role you will have to be an excellent communicator with ability to negotiate and influence at all levels for both internal and external stakeholders.

You will have excellent organisation and time management skills, be able to prioritise and keep to tight deadlines.

You’ll have a strong analytical skill, Intermediate/ Advance working knowledge of Excel and a strong attention to detail.

Work on your own initiative with a pro-active approach to tasks and be able to think outside the box when it comes to problem solving.

GCSE or equivalent Maths and English grade C or above.

**Desirable**:
Strong business acumen and the drive to make changes to the way the company operates.

The ability to simplify complex issues and implement practical solutions

The ability to innovate new and pragmatic solutions using your own ideas

Supply chain experience is desirable but not essential

The aptitude to learn new technical skills quickly
