Here at **GXO Northampton**, we’re working together with Sainsbury’s and on the look-out for a **Senior Warehouse Operations Support Assistant **to join our fast-paced team. You’ll be working on a **full-time,** **permanent **basis, on an **‘any 5 from 7’** pattern, covering the hours of **14:00-22:00**. This role will require some flexibility to cover the AM and Night shift when required.

**What you’ll do on a typical day**:

- Manage the receiving of inbound stock from both suppliers and other business areas ensuring all processes are completed accurately with any anomalies investigated and raised accordingly
- Be responsible for the accurate inventory of stock, both internally to stores and externally to suppliers. Investigate, identify, and rectify any issues while maintaining the integrity of stock files
- Prepare ad hoc reports for the management team that support site goals and targets
- Oversee the picking of stock by allocation and clustering for the operational teams, validate store orders are correct with any anomalies dealt with and communicated out to the relevant departments

**What you need to succeed at GXO**:

- Previous experience in warehouse administration functions essential
- Knowledge of Red Prairie, OCS. JDA or RSS WMS Systems desirable
- Systematic approach to problem solving and ability to devise and produce accurate information
- Excellent communications kills, both written and verbal
- IT Literate, with excellent Word and Excel capabilities
