Machine Operator/yardsperson

Full time position for a machine operative/yards person in a busy recycling facility.

Experience with at least one of the following is essential;
1) Telehandler - Both forks and bucket loading/unloading.

2) Loading Shovel - Loading and unloading lorries and static mobile plant on site.

3) 360 Waste handler - Loading lorries and static plant on site.

The Role isn't 100% machine based, you will be required to also work on the ground, sorting recyclable materials, basic mechanical skills are required for the basic maintenance of the machines - Greasing, checking fluid levels etc.

**Responsibilities**:

- Handle and organize recyclable materials in the yard
- loading and unloading trucks, loading material into static sorting equipment on site.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment

**Salary**: £11.50-£14.50 per hour
