You will have the opportunity to join the Oxford South Getting More Help (CAMHS) Service. We have a reputation for being creative, innovative, forward thinking, dynamic and research led. The wellbeing of our Administrative and Clinical staff is top of our agenda; we have an active Wellbeing Team and regular opportunities for staff support. We have a strong ethos of collaboration, shared reflection and team working.
**This will include**:
- Systemic assessments
- Offering systemic consultation to both CAMHS clinicians and Multiagency services
- Leading a Family Therapy clinic, with reflecting team
- Teaching opportunities to wider the CAMHS network
- Delivering clinical supervision and supporting family therapy trainees at all stages of their development
Training and development is a priority and we support clinicians who want to challenge themselves and development their knowledge and skill base. Staff in the wider CAMHS teams are interested and proficient in a wide range of therapies and there is a good culture of skill sharing. All development opportunities will be considered through the PDR/Appraisal framework.

The Oxford South Getting More Help CAMHS Service covers a diverse catchment area, that is both rural and urban. Our main office sits within the pretty Market Town of Abingdon on Thames, which is conveniently situated 1 mile from the A34 and 5 miles from the historic City of Oxford. Oxfordshire is a wonderful place to live, whether you are looking for outdoor adventures that could include walking along the River Thames path, joining one of the many water sport clubs, walking/cycling across the Ridgeway, enjoying a coffee in Henley on Thames, enjoying the shopping, culinary and social experience of the newly built Westgate Centre in Oxford or taking advantage of all the history that Oxford City has to offer.
