**We are hiring for a Business Development Manager, (EMEA) to join one of the world's leading translation and languages service providers (LSP). You will be working with major client across the European markets, focusing mostly on the sale to legaloffices attorneys and intellectual property (IP) offices and groups, as well as to top corporate organisations from a range of industry sectors.**

**LANGUAGES**
Fluency in English is essential. Fluent in a 2nd language is an advantage but not essential

Our client is one of the worlds most recognised and successful LSP organisations, working with major companies across most industry sectors across the world and specialising primarily in intellectual property (IP) solutions.

**LOCATION**
Flexible - Home and / or Office based (Office is in Gerrards Cross, Buckinghamshire ( 20 minutes NW Of central London)

**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**

To develop and grow their full IP and other translation solution sales across the major EMEA markets with clients primarily from the legal and service provider sector. This key role will typically include the following duties and responsibilities:

- Detect and prospect new clients/opportunities within law firms (legal attorneys relating to IP) to develop the EMEA market for Search, Foreign Filing + Translation, Renewals and IP trans services
- Create, maintain and leverage client relationships
- Build and maintain an active pipeline
- Onboard and manage a portfolio of existing customers
- Ensure the delivery of high levels of service
- Build and maintain an active sales pipeline.
- Onboard and manage a portfolio of existing customers
- Manage prospect pipeline and record customer interactions
- Use knowledge of the market and competitors to identify and develop and promote the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators

**CANDIDATE EXPERIENCE / SKILLS**
- Fluent English is essential. Languages abilities in another 2nd language is an advantage but not essential
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Experience of consultative sales in the IP, patent, legal or translation space
- Proven success in closing new business and retaining existing accounts
- Organized and self-motivated with a "can-do" attitude
- Ability to work remotely with previous success in performing independently
- Experience tracking sales activity in a CRM tool (e.g. Salesforce)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

**S ALARY, WORKING HOURS & BENEFITS**

£65,000 per annum + commission + very competitive benefits
