**Your Role**:
The Quality Assurance Planner is responsible for organisation and co-ordination of activities to support the day-to-day function of the Quality Assurance Department. The post holder will maintain oversight for workload management in the Quality Assurance department to achieve optimum use of resource, thereby maximizing capacity, productivity, and efficiency. Duties will include scheduling of workload, assigning auditors to scheduled studies, audits, record management and supporting capacity and demand discussion for the department. The ability to maintain effective working relationships with cross functional stakeholders is critical for success in the role.

**Who You Are**:

- Schedule and assign workload to meet pre-defined turnaround times.
- Organise activities to make sure resources are used efficiently and effectively to achieve organisational goals.
- Design, implement and maintain an improved scheduling management process.
- Log and monitor project timelines and maintain a database of tasks and status.
- Interact with stakeholders to schedule work and coordinate assignments.
- Assist project teams to develop and maintain periodic status reports to keep management informed on project progress.
- Develop and implement a capacity model and use this tool to communicate capacity constraints to the Quality Management and identify appropriate actions that can be used to mitigate risks to business needs.
- Co-ordinate the running of projects within the department ensuring all stakeholders (Managers/Supervisors) are kept informed of project timelines and tasks are appropriately resourced for the success of the project.
- Actively develops and builds a collaborative team through regular communication and feedback both to the group and on an individual basis.
- Always ensure a safe and healthy work environment by ensuring that all employees adhere to and actively embrace health and safety policies and procedures.
- Work with the Sales and Operations Planner (S&OP) Manager to evaluate capacity and demand constraints and resource effectively.
- Collation of data and presenting to stakeholders.
- Understand the training needs of the team and work with the training co-ordinator to schedule training within the team.
- Degree or above in a related discipline (e.g. Science or Business) or equivalent experience as a Planner/Scheduler.
- Planner/scheduler with experience of working in a heavily regulated industry (e.g.Pharma, Medical Devices, BioPharma) is desirable.
- Aware of the principles of lean processes (Lean Six Sigma trained or equivalent type of process analysis).
