We’re looking for a Tender Foreman to start **as soon as possible.** This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week Monday
- Thursday day shift (10 hour shifts).

**Main Role Purpose and Responsibilities**

The primary focus of the Foreman would be one of support for the Project Managers, liaising with the supply chain, Design, Engineering, composites and Joinery to ensure the requirements for build, identified by the Project Managers, is supported and implemented through discussions with the Production Director.

This position reports to the Production Director regarding all facility related issues, health & safety, tender resource requirements and quality.
- Responsible for the welfare and safety of the employees under your control, ensuring the facility is clean, tidy and free from hazards
- Responsible for highlighting resource requirements to the Production Director
- Ensure productivity throughout the day
- Drive pace of productivity
- Maintaining and improving quality
- Presence on the shop floor to run the shift activity
- Line Manager to Team Leaders and workshop employees, and main point of contact through which all HR issues of the Team are fed
- Responsible for adhering to manufacturing and facility budgets and targets.

- Thorough knowledge of Composites and Boat building, Fitout trade-based activities
- Functional and technical skills to perform the job at a high level
- Marine experience and a good understanding of boatbuilding / marine engineering fit-out
- Computer literate - Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Teams)
- Pro-active and adaptable, with a willingness to learn new skills and take on new challenges
- Driving license - UK, clean with experience of driving a van with a trailer

Desirable skills
- Computer literate - Rhino 3D, M1, Project
- Knowledge of Health and Safety guidelines

**Location**

The usual place of work for this role is normally Mylor Creek Boat Yard, Mylor Bridge. You may also be required to work at our additional site at Ponsharden, Falmouth.

**Salary**

Salary is negotiable depending on experience in the range of £34,000-£40,000 per annum.
