**Student / Main Reception**
- Provide a comprehensive reception service, including greeting visitors to the Academy and ensuring relevant safeguarding checks are made. Including welcoming parents and student’s queries and dealing with general enquiries face to face or by telephone; taking messages or referring matters to the appropriate person.
- Responsible for the supervision of a student receptionist daily.
- Assist with student welfare duties, looking after sick students, liaising with parents/carers and relevant staff, dealing with complex student matters, investigate and resolve any lunch account queries etc.
- Keep confiscated items stored securely. Returning them to the owner in accordance with the school policy.
- Be responsible for the storage, housekeeping, returning and/or disposal of lost property.

**Free School Meals**
- Maintain and administrate the Academy’s Free School Meal Eligibility Checker, updating manual and electronic records.
- Providing advice to parents in relation to the eligibility criteria.
- Promoting the Free School Meals eligibility checker to parents who are not registered to maximise funding and uptake.
- Recording eligibility on the appropriate platforms to ensure that students receive the correct allowance.

**Lettings Administration**
- Liaise with hirers and provide tours of the facilities to prospective customers.
- Maintain a customer focused approach to lettings
- Build and maintain professional relationships with lettings customers including regular feedback meetings in conjunction with the Academy Manager.
- Provide quotations in accordance with the lettings policy and produce correspondences.
- Ensure hirers have adequate insurance cover in place.
- Create and maintain an accurate record of feedback from colleagues regarding issues arising from lettings and suggest solutions
- Maintain an efficient schedule of lettings
- Seek new opportunities for revenue generation from current customers, identify opportunities for future expansion and follow up on leads
- Promote and market available facilities to maximise potential income.
- Ensure all relevant finance processes in relation to lettings are strictly adhered to

**General Administration**
- Enter and retrieve data relating to students onto the SIMS.net database and other software packages as directed.
- Produce statistical reports from SIMS.net and other database packages.
- Responsible for monitoring and keeping up-to-date the Academy communication system in order to ensure full effectiveness and efficiency.
- Support with event administration, managing the front of house function on the evening and working outside of working hours to accommodate.
- Provide general administrative support, undertaking typing, and be proficient in using Microsoft packages.
- To use the franking machine alongside monitoring of all aspects of external postage.
- Provide first aid assistance to staff, students and visitors as and when necessary.
- Undertake other reasonable duties as requested, in accordance with the changing needs of the organisation.
