**An Exciting Opportunity has Arisen for a full time Care Assistant and Family Personal Assistant at a Private Residence in Shenstone, Lichfield associated with UKWS Limited.**
This highly important role involves providing day to day support for a young woman (the client) who has a Multiple Sclerosis and their young family with children aged 4 and 6 years old.
The role involves working 8am - 6pm, 4 days per week and flexibility to work additional hours around the needs of the family is advantageous.
**Must be local to Shenstone.**
- Caring nature.
- Organisation.
- Communication.
- Administration.
- Listening.
- Problem Solving.
- Safeguarding.
**Responsibilities include**:
**Personal Assistance**:
- Assist with mobility - Assistance with standing, movement and transfers. Use of a aides and providing assistance with any physical activity whereby the clients needs support.
- Personal care - assist with personal hygiene and using the toilet.
- Assist and support with daily exercise routines
- Support with eating and drinking - ensuring the client is encouraged to eat a healthy, balanced diet.
- Companionship
**Household Management**:
- Client and family meal preparation.
- Shopping (gifts, household goods, clothes, etc.)
- Ad hoc errands.
- Transportation to shops, social activities & appointments etc.
- Taking the children to and from school.
- Light housekeeping including cleaning, washing where requested (the family employ a cleaner).
**Administrative Support**:
- Scheduling appointments.
- Making travel arrangements.
**No experience is necessary, however any experience in the following roles is advantageous**:
- Home help/ care industry.
A full driving license and own transport is essential and being based locally to Shenstone, Lichfield is preferred.
**Salary - £30-35,000 pro rata, depending on skills and experience.**
