Starting Salary from 1 April 2024: £10,507.59 (FTE £22,600)

**The role**:
Can you commit to feeding hungry tummies as well as hungry minds? We serve more than just a meal in our kitchens. Smestow Academy runs a busy kitchen that caters for pupils, staff and visitors. We are seeking to appoint a part time Catering Assistant to work 10:30AM to 2:30PM.

**About you**:
The role is demanding and busy and will require the following key skills and experience:

- Having experience of basic food preparation skills and serving food within a large catering operation;
- Previous experience working with the catering/education industry;
- Able to complete all physical requirements of the role e.g. standing for long periods of time;
- Able to work well within a team and undertake delegated tasks from the Head Chef.
