Chappell Enterprises are recruiting for a Service Engineer with our client based in Colchester, Essex.

Our client specialise in maintenance within the heating industry having looked after commercial, residential & ecclesiastical environments in London and East Anglia since 1925.

Their maintenance solutions cover all bases from installing high performance heating systems to providing advice on renewable energy technologies.

**The role**:

- You will be required to carry out planned preventive maintenance to a high standard. Diagnose faults and carry out repairs to HVAC systems across an array of energy sources in line with company standards.
- You will need to gain an excellent understanding of systems and well as plant.
- Provide accurate recordings of site information.
- Provide clear and concise job sheets to both office based team and clients raising relevant forms inline with procedures.
- Carrying out safety tests and commissioning of systems.
- Carry out remedial repairs on site including alterations to systems.
- You will need to be willing to travel to multiple jobs/sites each day.
- you will be required to manage personal stock in van.

**Required qualifications**:

- Commercial & Domestic gas safe qualification

In return, you will receive a favourable salary of between **£32-48K** per annum depending on experience.
