**Overview**:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food and Beverage Supervisor to join our team. As the Food and Beverage Supervisor, you will be responsible for the smooth and efficient running of the restaurant, whilst assisting the bar team with regards to lock ups, events and daily running of a busy and thriving members only Yacht Club. This is a leadership role that requires strong team management skills and a passion for delivering high-quality hospitality experiences.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage the restaurant team and be the point of reference for any catering staff issues, either work related or member related. Know and follow the Clubs policy on disciplinary procedures.
- With regards to staffing, writing rotas for the catering team and always ensuring correct coverage of staff to facilitate events, whilst remaining within budget.
- Perform the ‘Duty Manager’ role, whilst being the senior person on shift. Accountable for locking and alarming the building, cashing up the tills, and being the main point of contact for any emergencies at the club. Be aware of fire procedures, regulations, and evacuation procedures for the Club.
- Training food and beverage staff on all aspects of catering steps of service, keeping food and beverage areas clean, and adhering to food health and safety standards in line with club procedures.
- Responsible for the forward planning of events to ensure a smooth operation and professional table service.
- Attending weekly events meetings to ensure awareness of all events and their requirements taking place at the Club.
- Using the Jonas diary to ensure rooms are fit for purpose for the next day’s/evening events, notifying the relevant person where necessary.
- Knowledge of how the Jonas till and credit card system work, giving training to staff when necessary. Being responsible for accurate pricing on the tills and media/screens/publications.
- Monitoring the till float and cashing up the tills at end of evening shift and securely depositing them in accounts.
- Ensure that the catering serveries and POS are adequately stocked, well presented, and are clean and tidy at all times.
- Working alongside the Bar Manager, being responsible for recruitment in food and beverage while adhering to best practice and within employment law regulations.
- Dealing with customer complaints or feedback in the appropriate manner - referring/escalating any problems to the Hospitality Manager or General Manager where necessary.
- Be aware of COSHH regulations for use of chemicals and use appropriately.
- Ordering cleaning and FOH supplies for the catering team, and using stock movement analysis to assist with ordering.
- GDPR - be aware of procedures/and changes in relation to the Club and act in accordance with these guidelines.
- Use the Outlook system for effective communications, booking meetings and time management.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £26,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
