We are looking for an experienced HGV technician to join our team as a Shift Controller in Letchworth. In this role, you will be responsible for the service and repair of a wide variety of vehicles. Specialist training will be provided where needed, to develop your existing skills to support our specialist assets.

**Who will you be working for?**

- HGV Technical qualification - NVQ or City & Guilds equivalent
- Strong technical knowledge and understanding of DVSA requirements
- Leadership and Management skills
- Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
- Multi-tasking and organisational skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Awareness of Health and Safety and risk assessment procedures
- Diagnostic skills on chassis and body
- Experience in auditing & quality control of vehicle repairs
- An understanding of excellent customer service in addition to flexible approach
- Experience in the waste/Recycling industry would be an advantage
- HGV licence

**Salary**: £47,970pa Monday to Friday
