We are a small community pub in Shildon - we will be offering food Wednesday till Saturday and the hours of serving will be 3pm till 7pm

The job will be around 20 hours per week and the menu is basic bar food

- Prepare and cook meals according to recipes and food safety standards
- Ensure that all food is prepared in a timely manner
- Assist in the planning and development of new menu items
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area
- Follow proper food handling and storage procedures
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operation

- Previous experience as a cook or in a similar role
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Culinary training or certification is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £10.42 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 20 per week
