Job Role

The role is 37 hours. Monday - Thursday 08.00 - 16:30 Friday 08.00 - 13.00 and duties will include:

- Required to understand fault diagnostic methods, techniques and equipment used when maintaining equipment and systems
- Understand condition monitoring methods, equipment used and how the information gained supports the planning of maintenance activities
- Required to understand how to minimise machinery downtime by implementing planned preventative maintenance programmes
- Required to conduct condition monitoring and planned maintenance activities of plant and equipment
- Must be able to work alone or as part of a team
- Complete all necessary college work on time and to the correct standard
- Complete the requirements of the apprenticeship which requires in house company training
- Adopt a continuous improvement attitude in developing work throughout
- Take an active role in adhering to quality control and quality standards

Applicants must have GCSE C or above in English, math’s a science and IT. (Minimum 4 GCSE at level 4/C and above)

Applicants will spend their first year at SETA in training before commencing work on site

Salary

The successful applicants will start in September 2024 on a salary of £5.30 per hour with increments annually based on successful progression.
